Members in the Clothing, Quilting, Crochet, Knitting, and/or Consumer Savvy Projects: MARK YOUR CALENDARS for May 5th starting at 9:00 am at Wyocena Health Care Center to participate in Clothing Revue. This annual competition is part of the Columbia County Fair but is judged in the spring. Please start planning your project now as a swatch of fabric is required when registering.
The registration form includes the ability to choose your judging times. You can find the form on page 23 of the April/May newsletter and at: https://columbia.uwex.edu/files/2018/01/Foods-Revue-and-Food-Activity-Registration-Form-1.pdf. Registration forms will be due on Thursday, April 26th. A maximum of two entries for self and two entries for others may be entered in the Revue which you and the other person will model at the Revue. A greeter will answer your questions when you walk through the door. One garment sheet per outfit is required. A demonstration will occur for younger members so they can also learn how to model, and there will be youth choice awards. Wisconsin State Fair Clothing Revue Delegates and Alternates will be selected at the Columbia County 4-H Clothing Revue. Two delegates and two alternates can be selected to represent Columbia County at the WI State Fair (WSF). Clothing revue delegates must be 14 years old by August 1, 2018 and have received a blue (1st place) ribbon at the county clothing revue. Clothing revue delegates may not attend the WSF in clothing revue two consecutive years unless there is no one eligible or interested in attending.
