2012 UW-Extension Pest Management Update Meeting was held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Arlington Agricultural Research Station,
Public Events Building, N695 Hopkins Road, Arlington, WI. The cost was $35. The information below pertains to that meeting.

4 Hours of Certified Crop Advisor CEU credits in pest management are requested for each session.
Information Packet includes: 2013 Pest Management in WI Field Crops Bulletin (A3646) which includes weed, insect and disease control recommendations for corn, soybean, small grains and forages, as well as other pest management reference materials.
Additional copies of the information packet will be available for $20 each.

1. Weed Management:
Annual Crops:
a) Herbicide updates for 2013.
b) Herbicide resistance update.
c) Carry-over concerns for 2013 and the utility of bioassays.
Perennial Crops:
a) Benefits of Roundup Ready Alfalfa establishment systems on weed control yield and stand establishment.

The speakers will be UW-Extension specialists Mark Renz, Weed Scientist, Perennial Cropping Systems; Vince Davis, Weed Scientist, Annual Cropping Systems; Eileen Cullen, Field Crop Entomologist; and Damon Smith, Field Crop Plant Pathologist.
